The ResilientCo team has been supporting Pyrenees Shire Council recently after the Bayindeen Rocky Road fire event significantly impacted communities as well as council staff.
This is the council that could. It is a smaller but highly capable local government that needed a boost in resources, oversight and operational planning for a short period of time.
We've worked with them before, after the October 2022 major flood event, and the team at Pyrenees is the perfect example of an organisation that has committed and put in the work in continuing to grow their maturity in emergency management preparation response, relief while still in the space of active recovery.
