Client: City of Port Phillip

​

We developed a program to support communities to draft and implement locally led climate ready plans in the City of Port Phillip. We designed an approach that engages different community groups over 18 months to identify their climate resilience strengths, opportunities and challenges, fill knowledge gaps and identify a list of actions that support climate readiness. We are also supporting them to develop financial and expert partnerships with relevant organisations in their community to ensure ongoing engagement and implementation of the plans through The Resilience Canopy.

 

As part of the project, we are undertaking evaluation to understand the effectiveness of the program and recommend adjustments to Council to expand rollout to additional community groups.
