Welcome to Alex Dudley

We welcomed evaluation and climate change resilience specialist Alexandra Dudley to the RCo team earlier this year. 

With both international and national experience, Alex has developed frameworks to understand and measure climate change physical and transition impacts, adaptation effectiveness, and climate exposure and vulnerability across the social, economic, built and natural environments, synthesising extensive data into policy ready insights and advice. 

She has used local climate projections in combination with council-level data and other contextual information to develop a Council climate adaptation plan, and worked with engineers and building designers to undertake building-specific climate risk assessments in line with Green Star requirements. 

Internationally, Alex supported a multi-lateral partnership and the United Nations University to promote climate and disaster risk finance and insurance availability and effectiveness in the most vulnerable countries, focusing on developing gender-sensitive and -transformative approaches and the Pacific region. 

Alex is passionate about reducing the impacts from disasters and climate change and has already hit the ground running with the team.
